Little is known about Iman Fasil. He was one of the last of the remaining Immortals at the time of the Gathering. Before arriving in New York, he had been living in Syria. Fasil was born in Europe but at some point converted to Islam. His teacher, Salim Ubadah was an Arab Immortal. Speculated to be born prior to Muhammad, Ubadah was among the early followers of Islam. He was the teacher of fellow Immortals Hamza el Kahir and Uv Bukhar.

When fighting, Fasil uses what appears to be a professional level of acrobatics, leading his watcher to believe he may have been involved with circuses or some type of performing arts at some point in his life. Fasil’s sword is a Toledo Salamanca broadsword.
