Steven Keane

Steven Keane became an immortal in 1536 and met Sean Burns who taught Keane about his immortality and the Game. Keane was living in England at the time of the Scottish Uprising of 1745 which culminated in the Battle of Culloden in 1746. He was good friends with Richard Earl of Dunbar who was responsible for ordering bloody, suppressive campaigns against the Scottish, leaving hundreds if not thousands dead. Duncan MacLeod sought revenge against Richard and killed him for retribution against his war crimes, making a life long enemy of Keane.

Keane was talked out of enacting his revenge against Duncan MacLeod by Sean Burns, who was a mutual friend. That is until Duncan killed Burns in cold blood while under the influence of a Dark Quickening.

Keane vowed to get revenge for his friend Sean Burns, setting out to take Duncan's head and anyone who got in his way.

Steven Keane Design

Steven Keane was designed to manipulate a Phase of the Game that no other immortal has ever targeted in Highlander the card game: The May Do Must Phase.

Steven Keane was a man about action and his design revolves around that concept. His core theme is based around:

  • Benefitting from when his opponent plays cards during their May Do/Must Do phase.

  • Ally Ignorance

  • Hidden Attacks.

  • Strong synergy with the Sabre Weapon of Choice.

Steven Keane also has some unique tricks in his arsenal. Some of our favorite cards are Tipping the Odds, Intimidate, and Switching Tactics.

Steven Keane Pre Game Cards

Steven Keane In Game Cards

  • How do Pre-Orders Work?
Pre-orders will go on sale and usually last for about 2 weeks. This really helps us keep prices lower for you as we don't have to carry inventory of card sets. Pre-order pricing will be lower than the non pre-order price. Once the pre-order is closed the cards will be printed and shipped. PLEASE NOTE: Card preview images are subject to change during a pre-order and may change before they ship.
  • What's an Immortal Set?
An Immortal Set is a new offering for Highlander the card game. Simply put, it's complete set of Immortal Specific cards for an immortal. You will get every new Persona Specific card up to restriction in an Immortal Set as well as their Persona, foiled MCBC, and a WOC Pregame that is either a custom WOC for the immortal or the WOC that matches their Hilt. Core Sets include only the Persona Specific cards for the new Immortal. Plus Sets come with additional new cards, sometimes generic or weapon of choice etc. Each new card in a Plus Set will come up to restriction.
  • What comes with this set?
All of the cards shown on this page come with the set.
  • What is an Adpack?
As the game shifts away from a collectible card game with boosters and rare chase cards and shifts towards a living format, new cards may be added to Immortal Sets and when they do, they will be offered in an Adpack. An Adpack will contain any new cards for an existing Immortal Set in a small pack. New cards will also be available via an ala carte option.
  • What's a Versus Set?
A versus set is a collection of two immortals made into premade, playable decks. You can literally crack them open and play a game!
  • What's the shipping/processing situation like?
If a purchased set is in stock (The add to cart button will say IN STOCK), it will ship out with in 1-3 business days. If you are a part of a preorder launch - expect a 2-3 week lead time. I know this isn't ideal but the preorder system really helps keep prices low as I do not need to project inventory counts. If you purchase a set that is Print on Demand or made to order, I will place the order at the printer as soon as payment has cleared. Usually same day, might be the day after. From there it will usually take 5-9 business days lead time before the set is done being printed and shipped. Feel free to reach whenever if you have concerns about your order status.
  • How are the cards being printed?
These cards are made in America. We are proud to work with an American supplier for these sets.
